This is the first time Shields and Martin have faced each other in eliminations. This is Martin's third race and has already one two rounds here.

Lots of holes out on Shields engine down track and it's all over.

Martin keeps winning with a better leave and incrementals right from the start.

Whiteley is 2 - 0 against Taliaferro in final rounds at prior events.

Taliaferro engine does something bad and the chutes come out and the car is dead before the 330 lights. It pulls off at the first out.

Whiteley goes on to the final round with lane choice over Martin.
