K&N Filters Horsepower Challenge award ($3,000 to the No. 1 qualifier in Pro Stock) - Mike Edwards, Penhall/Interstate Batteries Pontiac GXP, 6.594 seconds, 208.84 mph.

Best Engineered Vehicle - Eddy Plaizier, Super Gas entry, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

NHRA Best Appearing Car - Mike Salinas, Top Fuel entry, Campbell, Calif.

NHRA Best Appearing Crew - Rodney Dupree, Super Gas crew, Snyder, Texas

Super Stock: Chuck Stubeck, Chatsworth, Calif.
Stock Eliminator: Leo Glasbrenner, Chino, Calif.
Super Comp: Melissa Quigley, Walnut, Calif.
Super Gas: Ed DeStaute, Rosemead, Calif.

Full Throttle Hard-Working Crew Award ($3,000 each to Top Fuel and Funny Car, $1,500 to Pro Stock and $750 to Pro Stock Motorcycle for the crews that are recognized as the hardest working of the event):
Top Fuel: Spencer Massey Prestone / FRAM dragster crew for battling back after a DNQ in Phoenix and making it to the final round in the very next race.
Funny Car: Johnny Gray Service Central Dodge Charger crew for making it to their third straighgt final round appearance after blowing the body off the car during the qualifying.
Pro Stock: Jason Line Summit Racing Pontiac GXP crew for clinching Jason's second NHRA Full Throttle Pro Stock world championship in Las Vegas.
Pro Stock Motorcycle: Screamin' Eagle Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson crew for getting both Andrew Hines and Eddie Krawiec's bikes in the final round in the penultimate race of the Countdown of the Championship.
