BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Results of round 1 eliminations in A FUEL at the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series, 20th annual California Hot Rod Reunion, presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California:

Davenport rolls through the starting light beams and gets a red light. Sullivan wasn't going to make it easy, as he runs better than he qualified.

Kumre gets a nice 0.017 light and then rattles and shakes the tires. Bates is on the fly and makes a strong pass to the finish line for the easy win.
