REYNOLDS, Ga. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Southeast Division, event at Silver Dollar Raceway:

8:06 p.m. Page gets out of the gate first and starts to pull away. Shields starts to gain ground at half track, then finally drives around Page just before they cross the finish line.

Duane Shields' incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.006), 330 ft(-0.017), 660ft(-0.021), 1,000ft(-0.013). MOV: 0.0047 seconds (approximately 22 inches).

Demke got out of the gate first and started pulling away. He continued to extend his lead, then smoke started coming from the engine about 800 feet out. Allen could never mount a charge and Demke held on for the win.

Chris Demke's incremental margins: 60ft(0.058), 330 ft(0.174), 660ft(0.238), 1,000ft(0.268). MOV: 0.3368 seconds (more than 100 feet).

Fiorelli goes up in smoke at the hit, backs off the throttle, rolls about 50 feet and gets back on the pedal. Booher was long gone at that point and ran his quickest pass of the weekend to take the win.

Shields will have lane choice over Booher in the next round.
