NOBLE, Okla. - Weather Forecast: Today - Occasional showers and slight chance of thunderstorms. Locally heavy rainfall possible. Highs in the mid 70s. Southeast winds 10 to 20 mph. Tonight - Occasional showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening...then showers likely and slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the upper 50s. Southwest winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation 80 percent.

The weather forecast pretty well tells the story. Yesterday's heavy rain turned into an intermittent light mist this morning and there is a slim chance we'll get some racing in today. The track crew is already busy, removing the water accumulated during yesterday's downpour.

There are about five hours worth of racing remaining to complete this event and an optimistic schedule for today follows.

However, if the rains return (or if the intermittent mist doesn't stop), we will try again tomorrow, with a more favorable forecast.
