Neff and Pedregon have each won 4 times against the other in prior events.

They come off the line together, Neff starts to pull ahead, then the engine falls silent on Pedregon's car, not sure why. Neff takes the win and will be in his 12th career final.

 Car#-Driver(Opp'nt)-RT-----ET---Speed-----Car#-Driver(Opp'nt)-RT----ET---Speed
28 Ron Capps 1 John Force

Force is 42 - 22 against Capps in prior events.

Capps gets out of the gate first and starts pulling away. Force hits the throttle, goes up in smoke and has to give up on the run. Capps gets about 500 feet out, strikes the tires, then pedals three or four times as he goes through the lights.

This will be Capps' first final this year.

Neff will have lane choice over Capps in the final round.
