NORWALK, Ohio - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, Fifth annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals:

This is the first time Hagen and Carter have faced each other in eliminations. Carter is too quick on the tree and turns on the red light. Fred Hagen's incremental times: 60ft-0.936 sec., 330ft-2.463, 660ft-3.657/207.75 mph, 1,000ft-4.682.

This is the first time Pomponio and Bojec have faced each other in eliminations. Pomponio is not able to make the call...Bojec launches and starts to shake and clicks it off.

Ferro is 1 - 0 against Sgro in prior events. Sgro with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Srgo just a couple ticks off his career best for the win. He will give up lane choice to Hagen in the semifinal.

This is the first time Noakes and Veney have faced each other in eliminations. Noakes is out of the gate first, but then is out of power by 330 feet. Veney launched hard and was straight down the groove with a real nice pass to get lane choice over Bojec in the semifinal.
