BRISTOL, Tenn. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 11th annual Ford NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals presented by Tri-Cities Area Ford Dealers listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Right Lane: Frank Gugliotta Runs 16.568/46.01, Now #13; No Prior Run

Weather conditions: air temperature 78 degrees, relative humidity 62 percent, barometer 38.67 inches, adjusted altitude 28 feet, track temperature 108 degrees.

gugliotta with a lot of tire shake right off the starting line and clicked it off.


Left Lane: Kurt Johnson Runs 6.889/203.06, Now #13; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 7.030/202.21, Now #14; No Prior Run

Tim Freeman, Brogdon's crew chief went to the hospital last night complaining of chest pains and was held over night...the doctor's ruled out a heart attack , but wanted him to stay for some further tests. Brogdon with another good pass...Rodger Brogdon's incremental times: 60ft-1.001 sec., 330ft-2.815, 660ft-4.323/163.08 mph, 1,000ft-5.625. Gray was straight down the groove...Shane Gray's incremental times: 60ft-1.010 sec., 330ft-2.817, 660ft-4.327/162.80 mph, 1,000ft-5.630.

This was a great drag race...the two quickest pass of the session. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.997 sec., 330ft-2.802, 660ft-4.308/163.43 mph, 1,000ft-5.609.
Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-1.002 sec., 330ft-2.808, 660ft-4.315/163.33 mph, 1,000ft-5.619.

This is a great drag race to wrap up qualifying...the two quickest passes of the session. Johnson with the quickest...Allen Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-1.000 sec., 330ft-2.802, 660ft-4.307/163.67 mph, 1,000ft-5.604. Edwards was right there with him.
