CLERMONT, Ind. -- O'Reilly Raceway Park is pleased to announce the creation of Friday Nite Rage a new heads-up series that is already creating a buzz in the racing community. The announcement was made at Brickers Pub which is a popular venue for many members of the racing community in the Brownsburg area.

The dates of the Friday Nite Rage will be April 8, May 13, June 17, July 8, Aug. 12, Sept. 9, and a tentative Sept. 30th date.

Friday Nite Rage will feature heads-up grudge racing with some of the highest quality race teams across the Midwest. Heads-up racing is a style of racing that is drawing large crowds across the Midwest and South as people flock to see the fastest racer win. The rules are stripped down and can be equated to a back alley brawl with the strongest coming out victorious. Classes include Outlaw Pro Mods, Ultimate 10.5, Limited Street, True Street, Pro Bike, Index 9.0, Index 10.0 and Open Comp.

During the course of the Friday Nite Rage events there will be innovative programs involved for spectators to take advantages of including cruise in nights, theme nights, ticket giveaway's, and deep ticket discounts available through local sponsors of O'Reilly Raceway Park.

"We want the local community to see this exciting action at an economical cost," said Kurt Johnson, director of racing operations. "We know that times are tight and providing a great action packed show at an economical cost is just what Indianapolis needs."

Also featured during the night will be an informal car show, good food, music, activities for kids and adults along with the great racing action.
