NHRA Las Vegas Nationals Fact Sheet

LAS VEGAS --

The 10th NHRA Las Vegas Nationals, 22nd of 23 events in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series and the fifth of six playoff races in the NHRA Full Throttle Countdown to the Championship. The top 10 drivers in four categories - Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle - earn points leading to 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series world championships.

WHERE: The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Las Vegas. Track is located approximately 15 miles north of downtown Las Vegas off Interstate 15

WHEN: Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 28-31

SCHEDULE:
THURSDAY, Oct. 28 - LUCAS OIL SERIES qualifying at 8 a.m.

FRIDAY, Oct. 29 - LUCAS OIL SERIES qualifying at 8 a.m.
GET SCREENED AMERICA PRO MOD SERIES qualifying at 11:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
FULL THROTTLE SERIES qualifying at 12:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.

SATURDAY, Oct. 30 - LUCAS OIL SERIES eliminations begin at 8 a.m.
GET SCREENED AMERICA PRO MOD SERIES qualifying at 11:15 p.m.; first round of eliminations at 4:30 p.m.
FULL THROTTLE SERIES qualifying at 11:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.

SUNDAY, Oct. 31 - Pre-race ceremonies, 10 a.m.
FULL THROTTLE SERIES eliminations begin at 11 a.m.

TELEVISION:
Sunday, Oct. 31, ESPN2 and ESPN2HD will televise 90 minutes of qualifying highlights at 1 a.m. (ET).
Sunday, Oct. 31, ESPN2 and ESPN2HD will televise NHRA Race Day, a 30-minute news magazine show, at 10 a.m. (ET).
Sunday, Oct. 31, ESPN3.com will televise of coverage of eliminations starting at 11 a.m. (ET).
Sunday, Oct. 31, ESPN and ESPN HD will televise two hours and 30 minutes of coverage starting at 9 p.m. (ET).
