Schumacher is 35 - 33 against Dixon in prior events. They leave together and then it is all Dixon...Larry Dixon's MOV: 0.0380 seconds (approximately 16 feet). Dixon with the win he will clinch the number one spot in the Countdown to 1.

Bernstein is 8 - 7 against Brown in prior events. Bernstein is out of the gate first and never trailed to take the win light. Brandon Bernstein's MOV: 0.0667 seconds (approximately 29 feet). Bernstein will give up lane choice to Dixon in the semifinal.

Kalitta is 2 - 0 against Torrence in prior events. Torrence with a slight starting line advantage, but then starts to haze the tires and pedals it. torrence is then mixing up cylinders on the top end. Kalitta with the quickest pass of the round for the win. Doug Kalitta's incremental times: 60ft-0.867 sec., 330ft-2.205, 660ft-3.152/269.46 mph.

Fuller is 11 - 5 against Grubnic in prior events. Grubnic moved into the 10th spot in the points chase when he won last round and McMillen lost. Fuller with the slight starting line advantage and Grubnic started hazing the tires. Fuller started to lose traction and pedaled it. Then Fuller started mixing up the cylinders, but held on for the win. He will give up lane choice to Kalitta in the next round. Lucas clinches a spot in the Countdown to 1 with Grubnic losing here.
