SONOMA, Calif. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 23rd annual FRAM-Autolite NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.638/207.43, Now #8; Best prior run: 16.863/45.87, Was #19

Weather conditions: air temperature 67 degrees, relative humidity 61 percent, barometer 29.91 inches, adjusted altitude 1,114 feet, track temperature 83 degrees.

Enders is able to get down the track this time and into the field for now...Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.988 sec., 330ft-2.771, 660ft-4.263/164.67 mph, 1,000ft-5.551.

Left Lane: Gordie Rivera No Time, Now #18; Best prior run: 6.789/203.95, Was #18
Right Lane: Jim Cunningham Runs 8.324/115.63, Now #19; Best prior run: 6.799/201.79, Was #19

Rivera did the burnout and then was getting pushed back after the burnout. Cunningham with tire shake a soon as he let the clutch out and he pushed it right back in and coasted on through the 1320.

Deceglie got real loose right off the starting line and clicked it off. Yonke with a great looking pass to go to the number one spot...Bob Yonke's incremental times: 60ft-0.980 sec., 330ft-2.747, 660ft-4.228/166.19 mph, 1,000ft-5.505.

Gray made a good move in the right direction to get into the top half of the show. Shane Gray's incremental times: 60ft-0.980 sec., 330ft-2.762, 660ft-4.245/165.66 mph, 1,000ft-5.527. Krisher with the quickest pass of the day and ties A. Johnson for the fastest pass of the day. Ron Krisher's incremental times: 60ft-0.970 sec., 330ft-2.739, 660ft-4.215/166.79 mph, 1,000ft-5.489.

Brogdon was out of the groove and over by the centerline before he clicked it off. Stanfield with a real nice pass to get into the top half of the show...Greg Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.762, 660ft-4.242/166.13 mph, 1,000ft-5.521.

W.J. with problems early and slows from his earlier run. Kurt Johnson with a great looking pass to go to the number three spot. Kurt Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.975 sec., 330ft-2.754, 660ft-4.238/165.80 mph, 1,000ft-5.516.

Line with a tire spin and he will not improve. Coughlin with a great pass, straight down the groove into the number one spot with a track E.t. record. Jeg Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.974 sec., 330ft-2.740, 660ft-4.212/167.09 mph, 1,000ft-5.481.

Edwards with a good pass, but I'm not thinking he will be happy with this one as he gets into the top half of the show. Mike Edwards' incremental times: 60ft-0.975 sec., 330ft-2.751, 660ft-4.228/166.68 mph, 1,000ft-5.501. Johnson launched hard and keep it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Johnson sets both end of the track record here. Allen Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.970 sec., 330ft-2.732, 660ft-4.205/167.18 mph, 1,000ft-5.475.
