Brown is 10 - 3 against McClenathan in prior events and each has won 1 times against the other in final rounds. Brown won this race here last year and went on to sweep the Western Swing, the last time McClenathan won here was in 1997 and he went on to sweep the Western Swing. They leave together and then McClenathan increased his lead at every increment. Cory McClenathan's MOV: 0.0239 seconds (approximately 11 feet). So there continues to only be three winners this year in Top Fuel. This is McClenathan's 34th National event win and his third this season.
