Pedregon gets away first at the green and stays there until after the 330 lights and then has the tires go up in smoke and he slows.

Wilkerson runs close to his round one times and gets an easy win.

Worsham is 4 - 0 against Hagan in prior events and the winner of this round will face Wilkerson in round three.

Hagan gets his engine started and then the starter tell them to shut it off, as there is oil on the track.

1:13 p.m. Back to racing. The track temperature is now over 100 degrees, as the sun has started to peak through the overcast.

Another great race, as Hagan is out first and stays there right to the finish line. Worsham is right there, but can't match his prior numbers

Wilkerson will have lane choice later today.

Force Hood is 7 - 6 against Capps in prior events. JFR vs. DSR!

Force Hood gets a narrow 0.003 lead at the green and has to watch the NAPA Charger drive on by before the sixty foot light and pull steadily ahead for almost a car length win.

Hight is 9 - 5 against Beckman in prior events. Another Big Teams match up.

Beckman gets a big head start at the green and then is only 0.001 ahead at sixty feet. A charging Hight's Mustang has too many beans down low and smokes the tires. Beckman has it all his way from there on, but gives up lane choice to Capps in the next round.
