KENT, Wash. - Notes from final, round 3 qualifying in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 23rd annual NHRA Northwest Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Art Trautman Runs 6.679/225.86, Now #11; Best prior run: 12.398/83.22, Was #12
Right Lane: Larry Miersch Runs 5.524/241.97, Now #10; Best prior run: 5.604/251.39, Was #10

1:50 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 80 degrees, relative humidity 47 percent, barometer 29.67 inches, adjusted altitude 2,318 feet, track temperature 114 degrees.

Field not filled, no bump spot. No TV coverage this round.

Troutman is still having problems, but pick up enough to move up a spot to #11.

Miersch gets a strong pass with a better ET, but will stay #10 for now.

Rizzoli gets a single this session and makes another clean pass in his fueler to stay #9 in their debut race.

Austin is the first blown car of the session.

Nice looking side by side pass and both care make improvements in ET and speed from earlier. They end up side by side in the new #5 and #6 positions.

Right Lane: Joey Severance Runs 5.399/263.98, Now #4; Best prior run: 5.382/264.29, Was #4

Strong leave for both cars and strong finishes too. Force makes her best pass of the weekend and moves past her sister, Courtney, into the number five position.

Severance runs close to yesterday's best to stay #4.

Niver passe on the second session yesterday.

Two weird passes with first Carlson and then Niver having engine issues and coasting down the track. They sounded terrible!

Man, I wish I had the TV feed for these too! This would have been a terrific final.

The leave together and run side by side from start to finish. They both pick up ET and speed to stay in their #1 and #2 spots.
