KENT, Wash. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 23rd annual NHRA Northwest Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Right Lane: Jim Cunningham Runs 6.775/205.19, Now #1

We are watching the race on TV, so we get what the TV shows us...It appears Cunningham was straight down the groove. Jim Cunningham's incremental times: 60ft-1.037 sec., 330ft-2.871, 660ft-4.369/162.29 mph, 1,000ft-5.675.

A couple great passes here and Edwards ties Line for the quickest pass of the session, but gives up the number one spot based on mph.
