This is the first time Manzo and Thompson have faced each other in eliminations. Thompson with the starting line advantage, but Manzo has the difference made up by 200 feet. Manzo with a great pass, low E.T. of the round for the win. Frank Manzo's incremental times: 60ft-0.946 sec., 330ft-2.486, 660ft-3.691/206.89 mph, 1,000ft-4.719. Thompson with the second quickest pass of the round in a losing effort. Frank Manzo's MOV: 0.0627 seconds (approximately 23 feet). Manzo will have lane choice over Veney in the next round.
