NORWALK, Ohio - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, Fourth annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Jim Cunningham Runs 13.881/60.98, Now #2
Right Lane: Bob Benza Runs 6.750/204.17, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 79 degrees, relative humidity 53 percent, barometer 29.10 inches, adjusted altitude 2,972 feet, track temperature 124 degrees.

Cunningham was real loose right off the starting line and clicked it off. Benza with a clean pass to start the weekend.

Right Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.730/204.91, Now #1

Enders at her first race since Chicago and she is straight down the groove with a nice pass. Gaydosh Jr. with a clean pass.

Right Lane: Vinnie Deceglie Runs 6.692/206.80, Now #2

Humphreys with a great looking pass as he goes to the number one spot. Justin Humphreys' incremental times: 60ft-0.993 sec., 330ft-2.797, 660ft-4.300/163.69 mph, 1,000ft-5.595. Deceglie with a good looking pass to start the weekend. Vinnie Deceglie's incremental times: 60ft-1.008 sec., 330ft-2.811, 660ft-4.310/164.49 mph, 1,000ft-5.602.

Right Lane: V. Gaines Runs 6.661/207.40, Now #1

Gaines was straight down the groove to the number one spot. V. Gaines' incremental times: 60ft-0.995 sec., 330ft-2.793, 660ft-4.288/164.95 mph, 1,000ft-5.576. Morgan with a good pass...Larry Morgan's incremental times: 60ft-1.005 sec., 330ft-2.809, 660ft-4.309/164.37 mph, 1,000ft-5.603.

Kurt make a quick move toward the centerline and clicked it off. Warren with a nice pass to go to the number three spot. Warren Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.995 sec., 330ft-2.802, 660ft-4.306/163.81 mph, 1,000ft-5.601.

Right Lane: Shane Gray Runs 6.668/207.27, Now #2

Shane just bumped his Dad back one spot going to the number two spot. Shane Gray's incremental times: 60ft-0.991 sec., 330ft-2.791, 660ft-4.290/164.35 mph, 1,000ft-5.580. Jones went to the final last week and I'm not sure he will be happy with this one. Rickie Jones' incremental times: 60ft-0.995 sec., 330ft-2.837, 660ft-4.359/162.45 mph, 1,000ft-5.664.

Stanfield with a nice pass to get in the top half of the show. Greg Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.783, 660ft-4.283/164.23 mph, 1,000ft-5.577. Line launched hard and keep it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Jason Line's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.778, 660ft-4.272/164.87 mph, 1,000ft-5.561.

Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.658/208.20, Now #4

Anderson with problems right off the starting line and pushes in the clutch. Coughlin is straight down the groove with the fastest pass of the session, so far. Jeg Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.997 sec., 330ft-2.799, 660ft-4.291/165.11 mph, 1,000ft-5.575.
