BRISTOL, Tenn. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 10th annual NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Right Lane: Warren Johnson Runs 6.799/204.63, Now #13; No Prior Run

Weather conditions: air temperature 87 degrees, relative humidity 52 percent, barometer 28.53 inches, adjusted altitude 4,288 feet, track temperature 127 degrees.

Johnson with a lot tire spin right off the starting line. Warren Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-1.033 sec., 330ft-2.869, 660ft-4.389/162.37 mph, 1,000ft-5.697.


Left Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.761/203.74, Now #9; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Robert Patrick Runs 6.899/200.14, Now #15; No Prior Run

Line with his quickest pass of the weekend and he moves into the show at the number nine spot. Jason Line's incremental times: 60ft-1.012 sec., 330ft-2.829, 660ft-4.345/162.27 mph, 1,000ft-5.655. No help here for Patrick.

Left Lane: John Gaydosh Jr Runs 7.025/196.16, Now #17; No Prior Run
Right Lane: John Nobile Runs 6.830/202.36, Now #15; No Prior Run

Gaydosh with his quickest pass of the weekend, but not enough to get him in the show. Nobile is not as quick as yesterday, but gets in the show for now.

Left Lane: Justin Humphreys Runs 6.820/202.09, Now #16; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Greg Stanfield Runs 6.776/203.86, Now #14; No Prior Run

Both of these guys get in the show...Stanfield needs to out qualify Brogdon to get the last guaranteed spot in the K&N Horsepower Challenge. He is down to one last shot to do that latter today. Greg Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-1.018 sec., 330ft-2.840, 660ft-4.359/162.24 mph, 1,000ft-5.671. Justin Humphreys' incremental times: 60ft-1.019 sec., 330ft-2.853, 660ft-4.384/160.71 mph, 1,000ft-5.706.

Left Lane: V. Gaines Runs 6.818/202.39, Now #17; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Bob Yonke Runs 6.786/203.31, Now #15; No Prior Run

Gaines slows from yesterday and he will not get into the show. Yonke is just a few ticks slower than his pass from yesterday, but still gets in the show and that puts Warren Johnson on the bump.

Left Lane: Rodger Brogdon Runs 6.766/203.92, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.766/203.92, Was #11
Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.764/204.35, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.764/204.35, Was #10

Brogdon with his quickest pass of the weekend, but stays in the number 11 spot. Rodger Brogdon's incremental times: 60ft-1.020 sec., 330ft-2.837, 660ft-4.353/162.43 mph, 1,000ft-5.662. Left Lane: Rickie Jones Runs 6.754/204.08, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.767/204.11, Was #12
Right Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.798/203.09, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.772/202.82, Was #13

No help here for Morgan. Jones with a great looking pass to go to the number five spot. Jones with the quickest pass of the round. Rickie Jones' incremental times: 60ft-1.001 sec., 330ft-2.823, 660ft-4.341/162.39 mph, 1,000ft-5.651.

Left Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.775/203.40, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.761/203.83, Was #9
Right Lane: Shane Gray Runs 6.783/203.95, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.757/203.80, Was #7

Both of these guys slow from their passes from yesterday.

Left Lane: Vinnie Deceglie Runs 6.779/204.20, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.760/204.39, Was #8
Right Lane: Ron Krisher Runs 6.772/204.26, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.736/204.32, Was #3

Neither driver improves on their times from yesterday.

Left Lane: Johnny Gray Runs 6.760/204.20, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.757/204.08, Was #6
Right Lane: Kurt Johnson Runs 6.766/204.39, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.735/204.39, Was #2

Gray with a real nice pass, second quick of the session...Johnny Gray's incremental times: 60ft-1.001 sec., 330ft-2.826, 660ft-4.347/162.14 mph, 1,000ft-5.657. Johnson slows from his time from yesterday, but still has a nice pass.

Left Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 6.722/205.10, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.742/204.73, Was #4
Right Lane: Mike Edwards Runs 6.755/205.54, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.725/204.94, Was #1

Edwards with another nice pass, but slows from his time yesterday. Johnson with a great pass, the quickest pass of the weekend. Allen Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.992 sec., 330ft-2.806, 660ft-4.318/163.00 mph, 1,000ft-5.623.
