BRISTOL, Tenn. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 10th annual NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:
Right Lane: Robert Patrick Runs 6.901/200.74, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 88 degrees, relative humidity 41 percent, barometer 28.49 inches, adjusted altitude 4,252 feet, track temperature 139 degrees.

Patrick with a nice pass to start the weekend.


Left Lane: John Gaydosh Jr Runs 7.097/194.46, Now #3
Right Lane: John Nobile Runs 6.865/201.85, Now #1

Nobile was straight down the groove.

Left Lane: Vinnie Deceglie Runs 6.807/203.40, Now #1
Right Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.813/202.94, Now #2

Deceglie with a good looking pass, and Morgan was just a tick behind him.

Left Lane: Justin Humphreys Runs 6.836/201.43, Now #4
Right Lane: Kurt Johnson Runs 6.801/203.83, Now #1



Left Lane: V. Gaines Runs 7.147/192.30, Now #9
Right Lane: Warren Johnson Runs 6.796/203.98, Now #1

WJgoe to the number one spot...

Left Lane: Rickie Jones Runs 6.778/203.19, Now #1
Right Lane: Bob Yonke Runs 6.817/202.18, Now #6

Jones with the first sub-one second 60-foot time and he goes to the number one spot. Rickie Jones' incremental times: 60ft-0.999 sec., 330ft-2.832, 660ft-4.356/161.65 mph, 1,000ft-5.669.

Left Lane: Rodger Brogdon Runs 6.778/203.55, Now #2
Right Lane: Ron Krisher Runs 6.774/203.83, Now #1

This was a good drag race with these two going to the top of the list. Rodger Brogdon's incremental times: 60ft-1.021 sec., 330ft-2.842, 660ft-4.361/162.29 mph, 1,000ft-5.672.
Ron Krisher's incremental times: 60ft-1.018 sec., 330ft-2.844, 660ft-4.361/162.31 mph, 1,000ft-5.670.

Left Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.800/203.06, Now #6
Right Lane: Greg Stanfield Runs 6.820/201.97, Now #12



Left Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.761/203.83, Now #1
Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 12.350/68.80, Now #19

coughlin with problems early in the run and clicks it off...Anderson with a nice pass to go to the number one spot. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-1.006 sec., 330ft-2.826, 660ft-4.345/161.96 mph, 1,000ft-5.655.

Left Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 6.742/204.73, Now #1
Right Lane: Mike Edwards Runs 6.757/204.39, Now #2

The number one and two in points and they go to number one and two on the qualifying list. A couple good looking passes. Allen Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-1.001 sec., 330ft-2.818, 660ft-4.332/162.65 mph, 1,000ft-5.640.
Mike Edwards' incremental times: 60ft-1.004 sec., 330ft-2.828, 660ft-4.347/162.29 mph, 1,000ft-5.654.
