Pro Stock Motorcycle Qualifying Notes, Session #3
By Rick Green

ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 41st annual NHRA SuperNationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Right Lane: Joe DeSantis Runs 7.307/180.62, Now #12; No Prior Run

11:49 a.m. - Weather conditions: air temperature 77 degrees, relative humidity 54 percent, barometer 30.05 inches, adjusted altitude 1,722 feet, track temperature 106 degrees.

There were 18 riders who made qualifying runs yesterday, so there will be some jockeying for spots in the order today. DeSantis had a clean run but not all that quick, so we'll have to wait and see if it is good enough.

Left Lane: Craig Treble Runs 6.979/192.19, Now #9; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Redell Harris Runs 7.176/182.06, Now #13; No Prior Run

Treble made two attempts yesterday but was not able to go more than a couple of feet each time. On the third time it is the charm with a real nice pass.

Right Lane: Thomas Miceli Runs 7.212/169.72, Now #14; No Prior Run

Miceli made two runs yesterday and went into the sand both times. This time, he had a nice ride down the track and got stopped in time.

Left Lane: Wesley Wells Runs 7.146/183.44, Now #14; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Jim Underdahl Runs 7.009/187.34, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.981/190.78, Was #9

Both riders had good trips down the track but neither rider improved.

Left Lane: Angie Smith Runs 7.026/183.82, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.998/182.75, Was #12
Right Lane: Shawn Gann Runs 6.977/189.79, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.968/191.51, Was #8

Both riders were slower than last night, so there was no change in the order.

Left Lane: Eddie Krawiec Runs 7.018/190.22, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.988/193.07, Was #11
Right Lane: Matt Smith Runs 6.962/188.73, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.901/192.60, Was #4
