Rain Ends Day One of Racing

ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. -- Rain brings day one of racing to an end prematurely at the 41st annual NHRA SuperNationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. About half way through Super Comp time trials it began to rain and with the 6 pm curfew there was no way to get the track dry, so the rest of the day's activities were canceled.

Only one round of Super Stock Class Eliminations was run so in multi-car classes the class winner will be determined by the highest qualified car of those that won in round one.

Racing will resume with Friday's schedule.
