JOLIET, Ill. - Results of round 4 eliminations in Competition Eliminator at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 13th annual United Association Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by Miller Welders:

James Caro has a 0.06 CIC penalty; Robert Bailey has a 0.11 CIC penalty. Caro qualified 26th, well down the 32-car ladder, Bailey 4th, near the top.

Caro had a small starting line advantage and Bailey was unable to run him down. James Caro's MOV: 0.1018 seconds (approximately 26 feet).

Frank Aragona Jr. has no CIC penalty; David Rampy has a 0.12 CIC penalty.

Aragona pulled into the water and the engine sounded like it was running on about half the four cylinders, very rough. He had to refire the engine once as he staged, then shut it off after launching. Rampy launched, then cruised to victory. It will be Rampy and Caro in the final round.
