JOLIET, Ill. - 5:30 p.m. - The rain has stopped and race officials are starting the track drying process again.
Unfortunately, the worst of the latest storm did not miss us - torrential rain left standing water on the track and shutdown area
and strong winds blew away several of the inflatable advertising displays.
Based on several other track drying cycles over the past few days, it will take at least two hours to get the track ready for more
racing.
Stay tuned, we'll let you know when the cars are called back to the lanes - hopefully, Mother Nature will ignore the staging call
this time around.
