JOLIET, Ill. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Alcohol Funny Car Allstar at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 26th annual NHRA Jeg's Allstars:

Anderika broke as soon as he let the clutch out. Manzo with a real nice pass, but a tick off his qualifying time. Frank Manzo's incremental times: 60ft-0.942 sec., 330ft-2.474, 660ft-3.671/207.30 mph, 1,000ft-4.695. Manzo has more Allstars wins than anyone else...

Ferro is out of the gate first and never trails with his quickest pass for the win. Mickey Ferro's incremental times: 60ft-0.936 sec., 330ft-2.475, 660ft-3.683/204.01 mph, 1,000ft-4.716. Bateman with a real nice pass in the losing effort.

Webster with the starting line advantage, but Bohl has the difference made up by the time they go by the 330-foot mark. Bohl takes the win by 0.0038 seconds (approximately 17 inches). Bohl will give up lane choice to Ferro in the semifinals.

Brown went into the net yesterday and tore up the car, he was okay but not the car so Gasparrelli gets the freebie here. Gasparrelli makes a quick move toward the centerline as soon as he let the clutch out. He will give up lane choice to Manzo in the next round.
