JOLIET, Ill. - 10:30 a.m. - Plan D worked well for about an hour, then Mother Nature stepped in and brought things to a halt once again.
The rain was passing south of the track, but as the final pairs of non-Allstars Top Alcohol Funny Cars were getting ready to make
their final qualifying attempts, it started to sprinkle.
There were just two pairs of cars left in the qualifying session, with the first round of the Allstars competition to follow.
The cars have gone back to the pits and we are waiting for the rain to stop. Unfortunately, there's no telling when that will be be,
the weather radar is mostly green and yellow and orange this morning.
Stay tuned, we'll let you know when (if) it looks like racing is about to resume.
