JOLIET, Ill. - 8:25 a.m. This was the daily race schedule for Saturday, June 5, at the 13th annual United Association Route 66 Nationals at Route 66 Raceway when we left the track last night (well, early this morning).

This schedule is overcome by events (OBE), mainly because of heavy overnight rain, and, in Congressional terms, it is dead on arrival (DOA).

Right now, track drying is under way, with an uncertain start time because of the extremely wet shutdown area.

The third qualifying session for Top Sportsman and Top Dragster All Stars has already been cancelled and we xpect the round three eliminations that were to start todays' racing will be postponed to tomorrow.

The fate of the Top Alcohol qualifying sessions is currently unknown.

When a new schedule is announced, we will pass it along to you. Meanwhile, here's what was supposed to be going on today, even as we speak...
