Rain Delay Update
By Larry Sullivan

JOLIET, Ill. - 2:15 p.m. - Just a brief update on the delay.

The net is back up and we're now officially on a rain delay.

Burl Brown's car was more severely damaged than initial reports led us to believe. He is probably done for the weekend.

Track drying was proceeding nicely until about five minutes ago, then it started raining again.

If the weather radar is correct, this should pass in less than an hour and it appears there is no more rain coming for quite some time.

Hopefully, we'll see both Pro sessions yet today, but right now we'd settle for at least one.
