CHANDLER, Ariz. - NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 26th annual NHRA Arizona Nationals:

                                                                    
1:30p.m. Rain has returned to delay further today's planned activities. The radar map shows a
small, but strong cell passing through the Chandler, AZ area. It will likely take 1.5 to 2 hours to
dry the track again, once it finally stops.
                                                                    
Hopefully, we may get all rounds of Professional Elimination completed, but it is almost certain
that all of the Sportsman categories will be postponed.
                                                                    
If we don't complete all eliminations today,  Monday's weather is currently predicted as "Cloudy
with showers. High near 60F. Winds WSW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 40%."
