CHANDLER, Ariz. - NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 26th annual NHRA Arizona Nationals - 10:30a.m. update:

This morning's planned 8:30a.m. start time for Stock eliminations was postponed until the weather improved and the track could be dried, as there had been rain on Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

About 10:00a.m., Stock round one racers were paired up to race, when it started to rain again. At this point, the NHRA is pushing water off the track and running the sweeper. The radar shows a window of broken clouds for a while, but at least one more large cell is blowing in. With any luck it will pass to the North of us.

The best guess is about another hour and a half to two hours before racing can begin.
