POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 50th annual Kragen O'Reilly NHRA Winternationals presented by Valvoline:

This is the first time Trautman and Johnson have faced each other in eliminations. Trautman lunges through the beams before the tree was started and then smoked the tires. No times recorded.

Johnson makes a clean pass into round three.

This is the first time Force and Cowie have faced each other in eliminations.

Fueler vs. Blower. Cowie takes the big upset win, as Cowie is away first and continually to pull ahead until after half track. The fueler starts to close, but runs out of race track.

Identical 0.026 RT's and Demke starts to pull ahead on down the track for a strong finish. It looked like Whiteley's engine had a big fuel leak off the top of the blower going down the track and he can't match Demke's pace.
