NORWALK, Ohio -- IHRA's Division 5 Thunder Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am tour will once again consist of 3 double events in 2010. Racers continually make sacrifices in the terms of travel costs and time off work in order to show commitment and support the division and their IHRA facilities and the continued double-event format should help keep cost to a minimum.

U.S. 131 Motorsports Park will kick off the Thunder Division with a double-event weekend on May 29-30, 2010. These events will also count as Summit Pro-Am Divisional claims for racers running the Division 3, North Stars, events.

The series will then move to Byron Dragway on June 19-20 for the Thunder Division's opportunity at a Tournament of Champions Qualifying event. The Double event weekend will consist of a Summit Pro-Am race on Saturday, then a second Pro-Am claim on Sunday which will also count as a Tournament of Champions Qualifier.

The third stop on the Division 5 Summit Pro-Am tour will be Osceola Dragway on a date to be announced, pending regional event schedules.
