OLATHE, Kan. -- Randy Meyer Racing ended the year on a high note with driver, Dan Kracht scoring the teams 4th West Central Division Championship. The team made three final round appearances in this season's NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster series en route to taking top honors at season close.

Kracht began his rookie season behind the wheel of one of the NHRA's premier teams in Top Alcohol Dragster competition. The Team made their way to finals in Dallas, TX and two appearances in Brainerd, MN. Kracht's best elapse time was at the second Dallas event driving the Meyer Racing Injected Nitro Dragster to 5.26 seconds at 270 mph!

Kate Harker as well as Randy himself also spent some time behind the wheel this season.

The Randy Meyer Racing team made eleven race starts this season averaging a semi-final finish or better. Kracht most notably earned a reputation as a fast leaver off the start line taking no mercy on his fellow competitors. The team finished the National series in 12th place, which is a very respective finish for a rookie driver.

The team battled with drivers Richard Putz and Edwin Scheemkle down to the last race of the season. Meyer and team edged our their fellow competitors by a mere 32 points, which equates to one round of competition, to take the West Central Division Championship title honors.

Randy Meyer is no stranger to winning as a driver; he himself can be credited to the team's previous three West Central Division Championships. Meyer is also a former IHRA World Champion and an NHRA World Championship team owner and tuner.

Randy's championship experience has proved successful in educating his daughters on the ethics and dedication to winning in the sport. Randy and Mary's fluent teachings have paved way for both daughters achieving similar championship successes in the Junior Drag Racing series this past season.
