IHRA Announces 2010 Special Programs and Class Run-off Schedule

NORWALK, Ohio --
The IHRA Competition Department has determined which events will play host to class eliminations,
shootouts and other special programs.
Similar to 2009, the 2010 Moser Axle Mania Sportsman Showdown will take place at U.S. 131
Motorsports Park during the Northern Nitro Jam. The 32-car field determined by points from the
previous year will once again be competing for their share of a $51,000 purse.
The Summit All-Stars program and the Summit SuperSeries championship will run-off at Virginia
Motorsports Park in 2010 along with the sportsman championship-deciding Tournament of Champions.
Stock and Super Stock Class Eliminations will take place at five events in 2010. Stock run-offs
will take place at Nitro Jam events at Grand Bend Motorplex, Maryland International Raceway and New
England Dragway while Super Stock run-offs will take place at Rockingham Dragway, U.S. 131
Motorsports Park and New England Dragway.
