CLERMONT, Ind. - Notes from round 1 time trials in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA, Indianapolis Test Session Day 1 listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run: Left Lane: Diana Harker Runs 15.401/32.43, Now #1 12:00 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 77 degrees, relative humidity 57 percent, barometer 29.24 inches, adjusted altitude 2,722 feet, track temperature 105 degrees. Harker was the first 'long car" of the day - don't know if there are any more here or not, but a quick cruise of the pits found lots of fuel cars getting ready for tomorrow, a few Pro Mods and motorcycles, and that's about it. Of course, since it's a test session, the pits are not as organized as a national event and the different categories are not as easy to find. Harker launched, shook, and shut off, the chutes out very early. She stopped about 1,000 feet past the scoreboards. Diana Harker's incremental times: 60ft-0.967 sec., 330ft-2.831, 660ft-5.599/071.56 mph, 1,000ft-9.677. Harker is the only TAD on the grounds, so we'll post his first session and wait for the next shot.
