MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 25th annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 83 degrees, relative humidity 59 percent, barometer 29.30 inches, adjusted altitude 3,173 feet, track temperature 104 degrees.

Coughlin is 1 - 0 against Humphrey in prior events. Coughlin with a great light and takes the win by 0.0525 seconds (approximately 16 feet).

Gray is 2 - 0 against Brogdon in prior events. They leave together and then Gray with his quickest pass of the weekend and he takes the win by 0.0313 seconds (approximately 9 feet). Brogdon with his quickest pass of the weekend in a losing effort.

Johnson is 10 - 6 against Stanfield in prior events. Stanfield qualified for the "Countdown to 1" by qualifying. Johnson with a near perfect light and the power to hold on for the hole shot win. Kurt Johnson's MOV: 0.0125 seconds (approximately 4 feet). Johnson with his quickest pass of the weekend.

Line is 1 - 0 against Spiess in prior events. Spiess with the starting line advantage, but Line is able to chase him down around half track and then ties Gray for low E.T. of the round. Line was a lose on the top end. Jason Line's MOV: 0.0141 seconds (approximately 4 feet).

Johnson is 36 - 19 against Morgan in prior events. We are back after being down for about half an hour to work on the weepers on the top end. WJ starting from his highest qualifying position this year. He gets out of the gate first and never trails to take the win. After this pass the Safety Safari checks the track again....so after working on the track for another 15 minutes the NHRA have made the decession to send the remaining Pro Stock cars back to the pits until the weeper situation is better under control.

Weather conditions: air temperature 88 degrees, relative humidity 49 percent, barometer 29.31 inches, adjusted altitude 3,440 feet, track temperature 118 degrees.

We are ready to finish round one about four hours later after dealing with the weepers in the shut down area. Humphreys with the starting line advantage, but Edwards has the difference made up by the time they get to half track. Edwards was just a tick off his qualifying time and runs top speed of the event for the win by 0.0311 seconds (approximately 9 feet). Humphreys with his quickest pass of the weekend in a losing effort. Edwards will have lane choice over Coughlin in round two.

Anderson is 5 - 0 against Jones in prior events. Jones turns on the red light and Anderson with his quickest E.T. of the weekend for lane choice over Gray in the next round.

This is the first time Krisher and Ondrejko have faced each other in eliminations. Ondrejko with the starting line and the lead until right before the finish line when Krisher is able to chase him down. Krisher with his quickest E.T. of the weekend for the win. Krisher runs the identical E.T. as Line, but will get lane choice based on mph in the next round. Ondrejko runs his quickest pass of the weekend in a losing effort.
