Pro Stock Motorcycle Qualifying Notes, Final Session

MOHNTON, Pa. - Notes from final, round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 25th annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Neil Jacobs Runs 7.950/168.89, Now #15; Best prior run: 7.627/171.95, Was #15
Right Lane: Geoff Godfrey Runs 8.010/166.42, Now #16; Best prior run: 7.685/166.09, Was #16

6:12 p.m. - Weather conditions: air temperature 82 degrees, relative humidity 71 percent, barometer 29.20 inches, adjusted altitude 3,367 feet, track temperature 94 degrees.

Neither rider was quicker than this afternoon.

Left Lane: Wesley Wells Runs 7.240/182.30, Now #13; Best prior run: 7.211/183.42, Was #13

Wells was not as quick as this afternoon.

Left Lane: Shawn Gann Runs 7.119/186.05, Now #8; Best prior run: 7.059/188.10, Was #8
Right Lane: Matt Guidera Runs 7.134/185.03, Now #12; Best prior run: 7.108/185.95, Was #12

Two more riders who did not improve their spots in the order.

Left Lane: Douglas Horne No Time, Now #7; Best prior run: 7.056/188.44, Was #7
Right Lane: Craig Treble No Time, Now #11; Best prior run: 7.105/187.39, Was #11

Horne and Treble were about to do their burnouts when it began to rain. After waiting ten minutes, race officials pulled the plug on racing for the evening. Qualifying is over for this event. Racing will start with Sportsman racing at 8:30 a.m.
