Beckman is 6 - 1 against Worsham in prior events. Worsham lost traction at about 250 feet. He tried to pedal through it but a couple dropped cylinders pushed his car across the centerline. He took out the 594 and 660 foot timing cones. Beckman will give lane choice to Tony Pedregon in round three.

Jack Beckman's incremental times: 60ft-0.913 sec., 330ft-2.333, 660ft-3.346/251.34 mph. with the win Beckman secures his position in the "countdown to 1".
