BRAINERD, Minn. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 28th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 75 degrees, relative humidity 63 percent, barometer 28.40 inches, adjusted altitude 3,586 feet, track temperature 94 degrees.

This is the first time Stanfield and Brogdon have faced each other in eliminations. Stanfield is facing his 59th different driver in his career, and he was runner-up here in 2005. Brogdon with a near perfect light and the lead until about 400 feet. Stanfield with his quickest pass of the weekend for the win. Greg Stanfield's MOV: 0.0102 seconds (approximately 3 feet). Johnson is 3 - 1 against Gray in prior events. The No. 10 and 11 guys in the point standings with WJ in tenth at 639 points and Johnny Gray at 613 points. WJ is first out of the gate and then runs his quickest pass of the weekend for the win. He runs the fastest pass of the event. Warren Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.997 sec., 330ft-2.804, 660ft-4.310/163.99 mph, 1,000ft-5.607. Gray matches his qualifying time in a losing effort.

This is the first time Krisher and Spiess have faced each other in eliminations. Spiess with the starting line and Krisher catches hi right at a 1000 feet and takes the win by 0.0074 seconds (approximately 2 feet). Krisher with his quickest pass for the win and Spiess with his quickest pass of the weekend in a losing effort.
