BRAINERD, Minn. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 28th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Right Lane: Dave River Runs 7.156/191.67, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 93 degrees, relative humidity 49 percent, barometer 28.56 inches, adjusted altitude 4,659 feet, track temperature 118 degrees.

Dave River's incremental times: 60ft-1.052 sec., 330ft-2.974, 660ft-4.586/152.97 mph, 1,000ft-5.980.

Left Lane: Vinnie Deceglie Runs 6.810/201.94, Now #1
Right Lane: Mark Hogan Runs 6.952/195.39, Now #2

Hogan with his quickest pass of his career...Mark Hogan's incremental times: 60ft-1.050 sec., 330ft-2.913, 660ft-4.475/158.15 mph, 1,000ft-5.817. Deceglie with a nice pass...Vinnie Deceglie's incremental times: 60ft-1.004 sec., 330ft-2.838, 660ft-4.373/160.59 mph, 1,000ft-5.696.

Right Lane: Steve Spiess Runs 6.839/201.70, Now #2

Spiess making his first appearance since Chicago...nice pass for Spiess.

Left Lane: V. Gaines Runs 6.860/201.49, Now #4
Right Lane: Rodger Brogdon Runs 6.806/203.49, Now #1

Brogdon with a real nice pass to go to the number one spot...Rodger Brogdon's incremental times: 60ft-1.023 sec., 330ft-2.859, 660ft-4.386/161.67 mph, 1,000ft-5.700.

Left Lane: Larry Morgan No Time, Now #9
Right Lane: Johnny Gray Runs 6.802/202.94, Now #1

Morgan with problems and they have the front end off...and whatever the problem was, they can't get it fixed and he is pushed off the starting line. Gray goes to the number one spot for now...Johnny Gray's incremental times: 60ft-1.009 sec., 330ft-2.844, 660ft-4.373/161.36 mph, 1,000ft-5.691.
