Chitty was very late and threw in the towel early in the run, most likely with tire shake. That was a bit of a break for Brooks, who pedaled at least once to get through his own run and into the finals.

Pickens struggled during qualifying, his car all over the track with suspension problems. Looks like they got all that sorted out, the car was on a string for this run, and right on his dial-in. He will face Brooks for the Invitational championship.
