COMMERCE, Ga. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 29th annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Katie Sullivan Runs 7.284/179.21, Now #1
Right Lane: Bailey Whitaker Runs 10.653/77.09, Now #2

Weather conditions: air temperature 73 degrees, relative humidity 27 percent, barometer 29.55 inches, adjusted altitude 1,751 feet, track temperature 107 degrees.

Whitaker with problems right off the starting line. Sullivan is riding one of Gann's bikes.
