K&N Filters Horsepower Challenge award ($3,000 to the No. 1 qualifier in Pro Stock) - Mike Edwards, Broken Arrow, Okla., ART Pontiac GXP, 6.565 seconds, 206.16 mph.

Best Engineered Vehicle - QMPRacing.com Pontiac GXP Competition entry. Driver: Peter Adams, Chatsworth, Calif.

NHRA Best Appearing Car - Foolish Money Racing Top Alcohol Funny Car entry. Driver: John Patton, Surprise, Ariz.

NHRA Best Appearing Crew - Sonny's Racing Engines Competition entry. Driver: Todd Hoerner, Deer Park, Wash.

Strange Engineering "Perfectly Strange" performance award ($250 bonus to the first racer in Super Stock, Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas, and Super Street who wins an elimination round by running dead-on their dial-in or index) - Super Stock: Mike Graham, Tempe, Ariz.; Stock: No Winner; Super Comp: Dick Vandermeer, Nampa, Idaho; Super Gas: No Winner; Super Street: No Winner.

Quest for the Full Throttle Moment Award ($3,000 each to Top Fuel and Funny Car, $1,500 to Pro Stock and $750 to Pro Stock Motorcycle (not contested at this event) for the top moment in each category during the event):
Top Fuel: Shawn Langdon for qualifying number one in the final session of qualifying.
Funny Car: Matt Hagan for defeating Cruz Pedregon to earn his first career appearance in the final round.
Pro Stock: Greg Stanfield for rebounding from a disappointing DNQ in Houston to beat Greg Anderson in the semifinal round.
