Hight is 11 - 7 against Capps in prior events.

They were side-by-side until just after the 660-foot mark when Hight started dropping cylinders. Hight drifted right and the cars were pretty close to each other going into the shutdown area.

This is the first time Hagan and Pedregon have faced each other in eliminations.

Pedregon overpowered the track at about 200 feet, then he started mixing up the cylinders and he had to lift. Hagan has lane choice over Capps in the final round by .001 seconds.

Matt Hagan's incremental times: 60ft-0.924 sec., 330ft-2.390, 660ft-3.393/258.07 mph.
