Cruz struck the tires at about 200 feet. Tony dropped a cylinder before the 660-foot mark, pushing his car to the left. Tony tried to keep the car going straight, but he crossed the centerline and took out the finish line timing cones.

This is the first time Hagan and Beckman have faced each other in eliminations.

Beckman dropped a cylinder just before the 660-foot mark which pushed the car to the right. He was very close to the retaining wall from about 800 feet through the finish. Hagan will have lane choice over Cruz Pedregon in round three.

Matt Hagan's incremental times: 60ft-0.930 sec., 330ft-2.389, 660ft-3.398/254.28 mph.
Jack Beckman's incremental times: 60ft-0.935 sec., 330ft-2.381, 660ft-3.404/248.52 mph.

Force's engine went silent at about 200 feet, the reason not apparent from here. A good looking pass for Hight and he'll give lane choice to Capps in round three.
