This is the first time Langdon and Chrisman have faced each other in eliminations. Langdon was
the No. 1 qualifier in the Top Alcohol Dragster class here last year. Chrisman was up in smoke as
soon as he hit the throttle. Langdon with the starting line advantage and was just a couple ticks
off the his qualifying time for the win.

Brown is 1 - 0 against Strasburg in prior events. Strasburg started to haze the tires around
600 feet and lifted. By then Brown who got off the line first was well on his way to victory. He
was just a couple ticks off his qualifying time. He will have lane choice over Kalitta in round
two.

Dixon is 1 - 0 against Erbacher in prior events. This is a rematch of last week's round one
when Erbacher had his big engine explosion. He did his burnout here and then had problems and was
shut off before he could stage. Dixon with his quickest and fastest pass of the weekend on the
single pass. But he will give up lane choice to Bernstein in round two.

This is the first time Schumacher and Haddock have faced each other in eliminations. Haddock is
up in smoke by the time he went past the Christmas tree. Schumacher with his quickest pass of the
weekend for the win. with the win Schumacher sets the record for most consecutive first round wins
at 31. Schumacher will have lane choice against his teammate McClenathan in the next
round.

then really starts mixing up the cylinders around 700 feet. Hartley was able to drive around him
on the top end for the win...Joe Hartley's MOV: 0.0698 seconds (approximately 27 feet). Hartley
will give up lane choice to Langdon in round two.
