POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 49th annual Kragen O'Reilly NHRA Winternationals:

5:06 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 61 degrees, relative humidity 59 percent, barometer 28.88 inches, adjusted altitude 1,872 feet, track temperature 64 degrees.

Becky is subbing for Deceglie and is making his first appearance in NHRA PS competition.

The Pro Stocks have their hands full in these conditions. Beckley's car move 3 feet and spins hard. Gaines has a 0.870 sixty foot time and just flies away. He has a wiggle on the top end and takes a easy win.

Both cars shake and spin at the green. KJ's car just sits and spins and there are a long line of tire chatter marks in Gray's lane.

Gray recovered and was making a clean pass until near the top end, where the car got way light and really fish tailed through the lights. Even more than Gaines wiggle in the first pair!

5:10 p.m. NHRA is doing a close look at the right lane down track and has sent the Asphalt Zamboni down to drag and spray.

5:17 p.m. and it's raining again.

5:37 p.m. That's a wrap for the day! Start engine can't be before 10:00am and Stock will be the first class out. TF round two at about 11:00am PST.
