POMONA, Calif. - Qualifying for the first round of Top Alcohol dragster was stopped at 1:37PM PST, as sprinkles
began to fall on the Pomona Dragstrip. Nine dragsters had completed their runs and Del Cox and
Brandon Johnson were ready to make their first attempts. The radar and local newscasters are
predicting rain through Saturday morning, so we may be in a long delay. Additional updates will be
posted as conditions change.
