VISTA, Calif. -- Don Prudhomme Racing announced today that driver Larry Dixon has bought out the remainder of his employment contract from Don Prudhomme Racing, effective immediately.

Further details regarding plans for Don Prudhomme Racing and the U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company Top Fuel dragster team for the 2009 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series will be announced soon.
