Thu, 11 Dec 2008, 10:30 AM IHRA Introduces the Boninfante Clutches Pro Stock and Pro Modified Top Qualifier Program

NORWALK, Ohio -- The International Hot Rod Association, a division of Feld Motor Sports, has entered into an agreement with Boninfante Performance Clutch Parts to create the "Boninfante Clutches Pro Stock and Pro Mod Top Qualifier" program for the 2009 IHRA Nitro Jam schedule.

This program will reward each #1 Pro Stock and Pro Modified qualifier at each Nitro Jam event with a $1,000 credit towards future purchases at Boninfante Performance Clutch Parts, providing that driver is utilizing a verified Boninfante Clutch assembly and is running the correct program decal on both sides of his car as well as making a pass in each qualifying and eliminations round. If the #1 Qualifier is not using a Boninfante clutch assembly the bonus will be a $500 credit towards future purchases with Boninfante Performance Clutch Parts.

"We look forward to the continued growth of this program as well as the increased prestige programs like this bring to IHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stock and Pro Modified."

Boninfante Performance Clutch Parts owner Nick Boninfante is a familiar face at the track. His company provides clutch disks to a large majority of professional drag racers and he also campaigned the Raybestos Funny Car team for 15 years'

"We wanted it increase our relationship and exposure with IHRA Drag Racing, and this program seemed like a good way for us to do just that while, at the same time, giving something back to the racers," Boninfante said.
